Above is an example of a film review from the independent magazine 'Time Out'. Here you see a short review, straight to the point with all the information you need; director, author, actors names and rating. At the top you see the title of the film in bold & the year it was released, this is to make sure people see it when flicking through the magazine, as the article is short and some may skip it by accident. The reason for the article being short instead of a double page spread is to ensure the reader doesn't get bored, as most would prefer to read a small amount of text than a huge spread all talking about the same stuff. This is likely to result in more people actually reading the review instead of skipping it, leading to more coverage for the film and director. As well as this, people may be more likely to buy the magazine again. After the name of the film, the directors name is present to allow the audience to look further into their work if they liked the film, also in case the audience didn't know that specific person directed the film, say if they are a fan and so the film may get more views.
